Bluebirds Fall to 1-3 with Loss to Ryle

Fort Thomas Highlands dropped its third consecutive game Friday evening, losing to Class 6A Ryle by a score of 50-14.  The Highlands offense, dealing with some key injuries on the offensive line, struggled against the host Raiders, amassing only 24 rushing yards in the game.  Quarterback Brady Gosney completed 23 of 33 passing attempts for 216 yards and a touchdown, along with 2 interceptions.  On Wednesday the Highlands freshman team defeated Campbell County 44-7, and on Saturday the Highlands JV squad knocked off the Ryle JV team 14-7 to remain perfect in 2016.  Highlands travels to Louisville to take on Class 6A Louisville Saint Xavier this upcoming Friday.
