Bluebirds Advance to Regional Final

Fort Thomas Highlands handled Dixie Heights by a score of 52-21 Friday evening to advance to the Kentucky Class 5A regional final.  On the ground, running backs Nick Kendall and Grant Murray amassed 238 yards and 127 yards, respectively, and the 'Birds gained a total of 422 rushing yards in the contest.  Highlands' defense forced 2 Dixie Heights turnovers.  The Bluebirds advance to the regional final, where they will host rival Covington Catholic in a postseason rematch.
