This past week, Highlands senior quarterback Patrick Towles won the 2012 "That's My Boy" Award for Northern Kentucky, presented by the National Football Foundation.  This prestigious honor is awarded annually and based upon football achievement, academic excellence, extracurricular involvement and community participation.  Towles, who is headed to the University of Kentucky on a football scholarship later this year, was the recipient of every major prep football award given in Kentucky for his gridiron accomplishments in 2011.  During his tenure as the Bluebirds' starting quarterback from 2009 through 2011, Towles led Highlands to state football championship victories every year.
